there's always a wind-up

This figure is carved into a slope near the banks of the ancient river Rea, in the mountains of north Warwickshire. Seen from a distance it looks remarkably like a bicycle. Posted by Hello

Surely does look like the markings of a bicycle lane on the roadway, I think! ;-) I do like the bridges, tho. What a lovely old place in which to live. As Eddie I. says: "I'm in from Europe--you know, where History comes from..."

I'm not certain I love the new blog template. It's a bit cold, really. And I agree with Linda's comment that the font colour is a bit hard on the eyes against the orange. I'll love to see what you come up with, however.

    Take care...K

Hi Kerri, it's nice to see you keep coming back. How's the move?

Thanks for the comments. I'll try two things with teh color, I'll make some of it black, and some of it the lighter orange I use in the title. Let me know if one or the other is more comfortable. Aside from that I could change the background color. I like it because it matches the rust on the saw, but if it makes the text harder to read it wil have to go.

As for coldness, is there a webpage that isn't cold? Are any of the blogger templates warm in your estimation? I'd like to hear more from you on this.

    :)
    David
