Strung Out

Today I did Scoubidous. Maybe you know them as Boondoggle, or lanyard, or or or whatever!
£1.99 bought me heap coloured tubular threads, one of which makes a nice lace up the front, and two more of which might be making a loop for a clasp.
But this scoubidou is time-consuming to weave, so I'm wondering if there are any native scoubi-nauts out there who'd like to contribute a handle for this one-of-a-kind clutch bags. I think the idea is that I can weave a couple of loops that will serve as attachment points, and that any number of interchangeable handles can then be swapped in and out.
If so, the bag is nearly done. You'll want a decent look at the colour choices for lacing, currently a chartreuse green, but which could be replaced by any of the other colours. In fact, Maybe the thing to do is send along a few extra laces so you can swap lacing as you like.

the blue and red square stitch looks really good, it is time consuming at first but i found i coud do one of those in half an hour after a week of scoubi-ing. keep going, maybe you can come up with some pretty cool handles...?

Thanks for that encouraging word. But I am still gonna ask your advice on a good clasp weave. And maybe a handle weave, although I like the look of that Lark's Head pattern.

The thinbg I really need to figure out is how to anchor a weave in the perforations along a tile, so that the thing is well, well-hooked.
