One Step Backward

When do the clocks do their forward-backward thing? Today is the 21st. Is that eight hours of daylight and eight of darkness, with eight of twilight in between? How many hours of twilight are there?

ah! I nearly startled at this post, and then remembered one of the lovliest things about Arizona: No Time Change! Brilliant, that is. You have DST over there? I thought it was just a silly American thing.

this is what I understand about the 21st......equinox- equal amount of light & dark with equal amounts of dawn & dusk.
twilight- the interval.. I don't know if can be measured, it seems to ebb into nightfall.
have no idea when the clocks change.
